Start Here
If you've found your way here, you were probably looking for something quieter than what most of the internet offers.
That's what this is.
I'm Alron — a coach, a writer, a musician. This Journal is where I think out loud about the things that don't fit neatly into a caption: responsibility, stillness, burnout, masculinity, the slow work of becoming who you are when nobody's watching. Some weeks it reads like an essay. Some weeks it's closer to a letter. None of it is here to motivate you, sell you a version of yourself you don't have, or convince you that five steps will fix your life.
What I write about comes from one idea I keep returning to: most of us drifted. Not dramatically — just gradually, under the weight of noise and pressure and other people's expectations, until one day the person living our life didn't quite feel like us anymore. The work I care about is the work of finding the way back. Returning to who you were underneath all of it. Return to self.
I don't write from a finished place. I write from the middle of it — someone who's been through adoption, addiction, real failure, and the long unglamorous business of rebuilding more than once. I'm not interested in pretending to have arrived. I'm interested in being honest about the walk.
So here's what you can expect, and what you can't.
You can expect writing that's slow on purpose, that respects your time, and that tells the truth even when the truth is uncomfortable. You can expect one piece a week, no noise, nothing dressed up to go viral.
You can't expect hype, hustle, or anyone telling you it's easy. It isn't. But it's yours to do, and that's the whole point.
If any of that lands, the best thing you can do is stay a while. Read what's here. And if you'd like the writing to come to you, you can join The Weekly reCONNECT below — one quiet email a week, and you can leave whenever you like.
I'm glad you're here. Let's begin where you are.
